On 8 and 9 September, Ambassadors to Libya from the P3+2+2 countries, composed of the US, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Egypt met in Berlin for a two-day meeting to discuss the current crisis in Libya and joint efforts in support of a resolution. The UN Undersecretary of the Secretary-General for Political and Peace-building Affairs, German Foreign Minister, and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for North Africa, Joshua Harris also attended the meeting.
