The High State Council (HSC) and its head Khalid al-Mishri have engaged with a range of stakeholders this week on the 6+6 process and the electoral laws. Notably on 13 June, Mishri hosted a meeting of security leaders including Mahmoud Hamza (Commander of the 444 Brigade), Mahmoud bin Rajab (a Zawiyyan militia leader), Abdussalam al-Zubi (Commander of the Mistan 301 Battalion), and Muhammed Bahroun (pro Dabaiba Zawiyyan militia leader). They reportedly reaffirmed their appreciation for the efforts made by the HSC to complete the drafting of electoral laws, and to proceed with elections as soon as possible.
