On 17 June, the 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC) and the ceasefire monitoring team of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) concluded a two-day meeting in Tunis, where they discussed the implementation of the Libyan-led and Libyan-owned ceasefire monitoring mechanism, with a focus on procedures concerning the removal of mercenaries, foreign forces, and fighters from Libya.
