On 28 November, the Libyan National Army’s (LNA) 106 Brigade reportedly conducted a security operation against terrorist elements in Sebha, arresting the known terrorist Ali al-Bakir and two others of Egyptian and Pakistani nationality. According to the LNA’s Commander of the Moral Guidance Department, Khaled Mahjoub, the 106 Brigade raided a house that the three individuals had rented on the outskirts of Sebha in the Hajjah neighbourhood where they were reportedly making preparations for terrorist attacks in Sebha. A member of the 106 Brigade was killed during the arrest operation.
