On 25 January, GNU Prime Minister Dabaiba, Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush, Interior Minister Khaled Mazen, and Chief of Staff Mohamed al-Haddad, met with a Chadian delegation, including Chadian Prime Minister Albert Pahimi Padacké and the Head of the Transitional Military Council Mahamat Déby, in N’Djamena, Chad. They discussed cooperation on border security, counterterrorism, and trade. Dabaiba called on the international community to support Libyan-Chadian efforts to secure their borders as well as the establishment of a joint Libyan-Chadian committee.
