GNU imposes curfew as Covid-19 rates rise to critical levels

On 25 July, the GNU Ministry of Health declared a public health state of emergency due to the rampant spread of the Covid-19 virus, calling for closure of cafes, beaches and entertainment venues. On 26 July, the GNU officially instated a curfew in some local municipalities between 6 pm and 6 am, to last for two weeks.
