On 12 March, clashes broke out in Tajoura, in eastern Tripoli, between the al-Duraa militia (aka the Baqara Brigade named after its commander Bashir Khalaf Allah or ‘the cow’) and the Aswad Tajoura (Lions of Tajoura) brigade. They reportedly started due to a member of the Duraa brigade being killed by members of the Aswad brigade on 11 March. Light and medium weaponry was used during the clashes, which lasted several hours, but it is unclear whether anyone was injured or killed during the clashes.
