On 31 August, clashes broke out at the headquarters of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) in Tripoli after the Deputy Head of the ACA was prevented from entering the headquarters, reportedly linked to the Nawasi brigade. Forces reportedly aligned with the Stability Support Apparatus (SSA), led by Abdul Ghani al-Kikli, also known as ‘Ghinaywa’ then stormed the ACA in retaliation, prompting clashes in which two fighters were killed and several injured.
