On 10 July, the 51 Infantry Brigade led by Bashir Khalaf Allah (aka Baqara or ‘the cow’) took over Naam Camp in Tajoura from the 92 Infantry Brigade affiliated to Haithem Tajouri. Some sources reported that the camp was stormed, while others claimed that it was handed over upon the orders of Government of National Unity (GNU) Chief of General Staff, Muhammed Haddad. In response to the takeover, Tajouri affiliated fighters mobilised in Tripoli’s Ain Zara neighbourhood. Gunfire was heard in the area, but no clashes were reported.
