6-13 January: Spanish police arrest two suspected ISIS members of Libyan citizenship

On 8 January, Spanish police officers in Barcelona arrested three suspected ISIS members, two of whom held Libyan citizenship. The three men reportedly had combat experience in Syria and were accused of plotting a terrorist attack in Spain.
