Two assassinations in Ajdabiya were executed by IS, one killing a local Imam and his brother by planting a bomb under their vehicle. The other assassination was of a military intelligence Colonel in the LNA. IS released immediate statements declaring its responsibility in both cases. IS also crucified another local from Sirte at the main entrance of the city, while releasing more gruesome videos. They show the brutal killing of two men captured in Derna, said to belong to Derna’s Mujahedeen Shoura Council on charge of informing on IS.
