UK foreign office changes Libya travel advice

On 10 April, the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) eased its travel advice, changing it from advising ‘against all travel to Libya’ to including exceptions for Tripoli, Misrata and Benghazi to which it now advises ‘against all but essential travel.’ FCDO continues to advise against all travel to the rest of Libya. This change will make it much easier for British individuals and companies to visit Libya and should therefore help to facilitate trade and investment in the country.
