Turkish military planes land in Misrata and Watiya Air Base

On 5 October, two Turkish Air Force (TAF) aircraft departed from Etimesgut Air Base, near Ankara and landed in Libya. One aircraft landed at Libya’s Watiya Airbase (Airbus A400) and the other at Misrata Airport (C-130). On 7 October, the same Airbus A400 arrived and departed from Al-Watiya. On 6 October, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that on 5 October a Turkish military plane had transported a new batch of Syrian mercenaries from Ankara to Misrata.
