On 27 June, the Souq al-Jumaa Movement called again for mass protests against the Government of National Unity (GNU) that same day on Martyr’s Square after the Friday afternoon prayer. In the evening about 120 – 150 people participated in the protests at Algeria Square, marching later on to Martyr’s Square. They called for an end of the Dabaiba government and an end to the ongoing chaos and division.
