On 18 May, the situation in Tripoli was widely stable. A couple of streets, including the Coastal Road, Tripoli University Road and 2nd Ring Road were temporarily blocked by protesters during the day. After a couple of hours, the Tripoli Security Directorate announced the reopening of all closed roads in the capital. In the evening about 150 to 250 people demonstrated at Martyr’s Square.
On 20 May, the Civil Aviation Authority at the Government of National Unity (GNU) Ministry of Transport reportedly confirmed reopened Tripoli International Airport (TIA) for ambulance and privately chartered flights.
