On 6 December, Minister of Interior Emad Trabelsi participated in a round table organized by the International Organization for Migration in Geneva under the theme ‘Migration in Africa between crossroads’, with the participation of 14 ministers from African countries, North Africa and Europe, alongside representatives from international agencies and organizations. The discussions focused on promoting international cooperation and seeking economic opportunities that support immigration policies. Trabelsi emphasized the need to urgently address the immigration file, citing the importance of supporting the national programme for the deportation of illegal immigrants.
