On 18 June, the Vice President of the Stability and Support Apparatus (SSA), Hassan Bouzuriba, announced the launch of an SSA naval operation along Libya’s western coastline (from Tripoli to Zuwara), aimed at curbing illegal migration and smuggling. According to the SSA, they are conducting the operation in collaboration with the Attorney General.
