Between 15-19 June, the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) met in Cairo to discuss the implementation of the Libyan Ceasefire Agreement. The Government of National Unity (GNU) Chief of General Staff, Mohammed Haddad, and the Libyan National Army (LNA) Chief of Staff, Abdurrazaq al-Nadhouri were also in attendance. While in Cairo, the 5+5 JMC also reportedly met with the Constitutional Path Committee, in which 5+5 members reportedly requested the cancellation of a constitutional article that stipulates that a presidential candidate cannot have been a military official in the five years proceeding their nomination.
