On 28 November, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqeela Saleh, and the head of the High State Council (HSC), Khaled Mishri, met in Cairo. According to reports the two discussed the constitutional basis for elections, the executive authority, and semi-sovereign leadership positions. There are no reports of any outcome from the discussion, or any agreements made on any specific issue.
