On 27 November, sources reported that a meeting allegedly took place in Dubai between the son of Saddam Haftar, the Head of the Security Support Apparatus (SSA) Abdul Ghani al-Kikli (Ghinaywa), Muhammed Bahroun (also known as ‘al-Far’, the ‘Mouse’), and the Commander of the 301 Brigade Abdussalam al-Zoubi. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the two sides discussed various power-sharing arrangements, including reportedly offering Government of National Unity (GNU) Ministerial roles for Defence and Finance to pro-Haftar candidates.
