During the last week, Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoygu, claimed that ISIS members in Libya and Syria were now making their way to Afghanistan and joining the group’s rank there. According to Shoygu, the US’ recent withdrawal from Afghanistan was providing a vacuum for terrorist groups to fill.
