On 15 November, the Defense and Security Council, led by Presidential Council (PC) head Muhammed al-Menfi, discussed the security situation in the country’s regions. The PC decided to appoint Western Coast Military Region Commander Major General Salaheddin al-Namroush as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army with simultaneous promotion to Lieutenant General. Afterwards, PC Deputy Mousa al-Koni and Government of National Unity (GNU) Chief of Staff Muhammed al-Haddad discussed the security situation in Zuwara and at the Ras Ajdir border crossing with a delegation from the city.
