On 22 November, Government of National Unity (GNU) Prime Minister Abdul Hameed Dabaiba praised the efforts of Qatar and Egypt to achieve the ceasefire in Gaza in a phone call with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammed bin Abdurrahman al-Thani. Dabaiba emphasized their common position on the war and the need for joint Arab efforts to achieve a complete end to the ‘unjust aggression’. The GNU Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza in a statement and called for the implementation of all agreements. The MFA also demanded the unrestricted admission of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the ‘definitive end to Israeli aggression against the Palestinians’.
