There was fierce fighting in Ajdabia when local LNA forces which comprise fighters loyal to federalist leader, Ibrahim Jedhran, attacked the Ajdabia Revolutionaries Shura Council – the militant body made up mainly of Ansar Al-Sharia members who adopted its name in imitation of the Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council. LNA forces undertook a series of air raids against the group in the Al-Snai neighbourhood, killing seventeen militants and prompting fierce clashes that continued until local tribal leaders stepped in to mediate. These leaders appear to have been successful and the two sides have reportedly now signed a truce.
