On 18 May in the evening, a Nobles & Elders delegation from al-Jamail and Raqdalin held a meeting in Zawiyya with Muhammed al-Baroun (aka al-Far) in his capacity as Deputy Head of the Western Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to discuss the situation in those towns in the presence of Nobles & Elders representatives from Zawiyya. It was agreed that compensation and blood money would be paid by Zawiyya and that another military force would be tasked with securing the two towns.
