On 21 January, a Misratan armed convey mobilised from Misrata to the Hamza camp in the capital in the late evening. The convoy included the very public display of several transportation vehicles carrying battle tanks. Additional mobilisations continued to occur through the week. Most notably on 22 January, the Misratan Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) based in Khoms is reported to have deployed its T7 tanks to the capital while a Zintani armed group was observed mobilising to the 7 April Camp in Tripoli.
