On 30 March, al-Menfi met with the Director of Military Intelligence and Commander of the 444 Combat Brigade, Mahmoud Hamza, as part of monitoring the security situation and strengthening coordination between the military agencies.
The same day he met separately with Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army Salahadeen al-Namroush, the head of the General Intelligence Service Hussein Al-Aib, the head of the Stability Support Apparatus (SSA), Hassan Abu Zuriba, and the second deputy head of the Presidential Guard Service, Ayoub Abu Ras. Al-Menfi stressed the need for concerted efforts and unity among all security and military bodies, and working with a spirit of national responsibility to consolidate the foundations of security and stability. He stressed that imposing the rule of law represents the basic pillar for building the state and achieving social peace, which paves the way for the country to reach the stage of elections.
