On 1 December, a young man was attacked by gunmen while driving with his family near the Atiya intersection on Railway Road in Sabratha in the late morning. The assailants shot at the vehicle, severely wounding the man, while his children escaped unharmed. The assailants belong to the militia of local gang leader Ahmed al-Dabbashi, also known as al-Amu.
