On 10 August, the GNU-affiliated Libyan Special Forces and the Air Force conducted a tactical military exercise at Mitiga military base in the presence of the Italian Consulate in Libya, the Deputy of Military attaché to the Italian Defence Ministry, and the Italian commander of the Bilateral Support and Assistance Mission in Libya.
