On 24 October, the 777 Brigade, led by Haithem Tajouri, along with the Stability Support Apparatus (SSA) led by Abdul-Ghani al-Kikli (Ghinaywa) mobilised their forces along the airport road through to the Tripoli International Airport. This follows reports of the 444 Brigade, led by Mahmoud Hamza, mobilsing its forces towards southeast Tripoli and parts of Tarhouna and Bani Walid two days earlier.
