On 11 September, Belqasim Haftar, Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund (LDRF), received the head of the Italian Intelligence Service, Giovanni Caravelli, who led a high-level official delegation from the Italian authorities. The delegation was accompanied by the CEO of GKSD S.R.L. The meeting discussed prospects for strategic cooperation between Libya and Italy in the fields of health, medical training, infrastructure, clean energy, and waste management and conversion to energy, strengthening practical partnerships that support sustainable development. On the sidelines of the meeting, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in the fields of health, infrastructure, clean energy, and the environment.
