5 December – 11 December: ISIS execute Fuqaha abductees
On 8 December, ISIS executed six of the ten men they abducted in Fuqaha on 28 October after their demands to release their comrades was rejected.
28 November – 4 December: LNA arrest five ISIS members in Ubari
On 1 December, the Libyan National Army arrested five ISIS members in Ubari. On 30 November, ISIS released its Naba newsletter No. 158 that featured an article detailing the group’s attack on the town of Tazirbu.
21 November – 27 November: ISIS launch an assault on the town of Tazirbu
On 23 November, ISIS launched an assault on the town of Tazirbu, northwest of Kufra, leaving at least 8 dead, 11 wounded and 17 kidnapped. On 24 November, RADA arrested a suspected ISIS leader in the city of Bani Walid.
14 November – 20 November: ISIS set up a checkpoint near Sirte
On 19 November, ISIS members established a checkpoint along the Sirte-Benghazi coastal road in the Wadi al-Hunaywah area near Sirte.
7 November – 13 November: ISIS attempts to negotiate prisoner exchange with Fuqaha
ISIS has attempted to negotiate a prisoner exchange with Fuqaha residents according to Libyan news outlets. On 9 November, security forces in the al-Manshia area of Sebha allegedly captured ISIS fighters.
31 October – 6 November: ISIS clash with LNA forces near al-Mabrouk oilfield
On 3 November, ISIS fighters clashed with the Libyan National Army’s 128th Battalion near the al-Mabrouk oilfield south of Sirte.
24 October – 30 October: ISIS attack Fuqaha
On October 29, ISIS launched an assault on the village of Fuqaha in the Jufra district, leaving four dead and kidnapping at least nine others.
17 October – 23 October: ISIS camp discovered near Sirte and three ISIS fighters arrested in Bani Walid
On 20 September, the LNA’s 128th Battalion and the Tariq Ibn Ziyad Brigade uncovered an ISIS camp near Harawah village, east of Sirte. On 16 October, local security forces undertook a raid in Bani Walid, arresting three suspected ISIS fighters.
10 October – 16 October: ISIS member connected to groups external operations captured
On October 12, ISIS member Abdelhakim al-Mashout was arrested. On 11 October, ISIS fighters established mobile checkpoints south of Sirte. On 14 October, the 128 Battalion captured the leader of ISIS in the Nawfaliyah area. On 10 October, a mass grave was uncovered in the al-Thahir area previously controlled by ISIS west of the city.
