On 3 February, the Technical Committee to Follow Up the File of Illegal Immigration and Border Security held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of the Interior, chaired by Brigadier General Mohammed al-Mahani, the head of the Border Patrol Unit and the chairman of the Committee, alongside members of the Technical Committee and representatives from the European Union mission and international organizations related to immigration and borders. The meeting discussed the national strategy for addressing the immigration and border security file and stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between the Committee and international organizations and direct international support to the Immigration and Border File.
