On 26 February, the Government of National Unity’s (GNU) Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a note verbale to the Nigerien embassy in Tripoli protesting the extradition of Bahr al Din and al Sayyid al Qallal – originally from the south and west of the country – to ‘entities other than the internationally recognized government.’
