On 13 June, the Government of National Unity (GNU) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes against Iran, saying the attacks ‘constitute a flagrant violation” of Iranian sovereignty and “a violation of the rules and principles of international law and the UN Charter.’
On 15 June, the GNU MFA issued a warning to Libyan nationals residing or traveling in Iran, urging them to exercise maximum caution and adhere to instructions from local authorities.
On 16 June, GNU Foreign Minister Taher al-Baour met with the Iranian Ambassador Ainollah Souri to discuss the humanitarian crisis resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression.
