On 2 March, Zawiyyan militia command Mohammed Bin Rajab – in the company of key militia commanders including head of the Security Support Apparatus (SSA) Abdul Ghani al-Kikli (Ghinaywa), Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade (TRB) commander Ayoub Abu Ras, commander of the 301 Brigade Abdussalam al-Zoubi, and others – read a statement rejecting the HoR granting confidence to Bashaagha’s government. On 7 March, GNU Prime Minister Dabaiba undertook a public tour of Abu Salim district with an entourage that included the commander of the SSA, Ghinaywa.
