On 1 November, the National Institution for Human Rights in Libya (NIHRL) said that residents of the Fayut neighbourhood of Ghat municipality were subjected to an armed attack by members of Battalion 101, affiliated with the Libyan National Army (LNA). The attack reportedly terrorized residents and resulted in physical and verbal assaults on families. The institution called on the Military Prosecutor and the Ministry of Interior in the eastern region to open a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of the incident, clarify its details, ensure the prosecution of those responsible, and bring them to justice.
