On 27 October, the Head of EU Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) in Libya Jan Vyčítal signed a contract to undertake the maintenance and rehabilitation of MoI border facilities at the stra tegic Ras Ajdir junction area, and in the al-Assah region. EUBAM said this project is part of EUBAM Libya’s broader mandate to support the Libyan authorities in strengthening border management and national security.
