On 26 May, after a meeting of Muammar al-Dhawi, commander of the 55th (Wershefana) Infantry Battalion, with Minister of Interior Emad Trabelsi and his brother Abdullah Trabelsi aka al-Farawila, commander of the Public Security Force, at the Tobacco Factory (the HQ of the Public Security Force in western Tripoli) all three of them met with Ibrahim Dabaiba at his house in Hay Andalus. The meeting was about ensuring the support of the Wershefana for the Dabaiba government.
