On 1 February, the Government of National Unity (GNU) Prime Minister, Adul Hameed Dabaiba, and the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Governor, Sadiq al-Kabir met with the 162 Brigade and other armed forces aligned to the Commander of the West Coastal Military Region, Major General Salahadeen al-Namroush, in Zawiyya. They also reportedly inspected troops as part of this visit.
