On 11 June, Prime Minister Abdul Hameed Dabaiba met with Libyan Army Chief of Staff (CoS) Muhammed al-Haddad and various directors and officials involved in or responsible for supporting injured veterans. They discussed the situation of the war wounded, the problems in their treatment and ways to remedy the situation.

Dabaiba emphasized the need to better organize, coordinate and unify the efforts of the individual organizations, saying the individual tasks must be specifically assigned. He said a committee must determine which cases are to be treated domestically and which abroad, based on the medical assessment. Dabaiba emphasized the need to provide the wounded with the best possible medical care.

On 12 June, Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar issued an order to pay 2,500 LYD to the families of martyrs and war wounded every year on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. The money will be paid out by the units in which the victims served.
