On 26 November in the early morning, there was fighting in central Zawiyya, in residential neighbourhoods in the area of the al-Rukaina roundabout, between the al-Kabwat militias and the al Ghuwailat militia loyal to Muhammed al-Baroun aka al-Far. Heavy and medium weapons were used. Several buildings were severely damaged. A mosque was hit. Three people were killed, five wounded. There were no comments by the Government of National Unity (GNU) on the renewed fighting in Zawiyya.

On 27 November in the evening, an armoured car of the Counter Security Threats Agency exploded near the al-Harsha traffic light on the Coastal Road in western Zawiyya. The car was blown up with a bomb. No one was injured. Thereafter, militias were mobilized in al-Harsha and in Sa briya. Protesters gathered in front of the HQ of the Counter Security Threats Agency in al Harsha. There were shots in the air, but the situation did not escalate.

On 28 November in the evening, a close associate of al-Far was assassinated in al-Harsha in a hail of bullets. On 29 November in the morning, south of al-Harsha, the body of a murdered young man was found. He belonged to a human trafficker gang that operated for Abdurrahman Milad aka al Bija, who was killed in August, probably by militias of al-Far. In the evening, fighting between human trafficker gangs and al-Far’s militias took place in Zawiyya.
