On 28 September, a British amphibious assault ship, HMS Albion, docked in Tripoli port as part of the UK’s Operation Achillean. While the ship was docked, Libyan and British naval teams exchanged best practice in seamanship, navigation, naval engineering, and medical support. British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, hosted a reception aboard HMS Albion attended by the Government of National Unity (GNU) Foreign Minister, Najla al-Mangoush, and the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, among others.
