On 12 July, a brief but intense armed clash erupted in the al-Khatatba area of Sabratha between local youths, reportedly farmers and members of the Laga clan, due to personal disputes. The confrontation, which involved heavy weapons and resulted in significant material damage including several burned vehicles, was swiftly contained without casualties thanks to the intervention of community leaders and the cities’ security forces.
