On 13 June, a crisis erupted between the cities of Zuwara and Misrata after armed groups in Zuwara detained 35 residents from Misrata returning to Libya via the Ras Ajdir border crossing with Tunis in retaliation for the detention of three Zuwara citizens by an armed faction in Khoms. Several militias were mobilized in Misrata and Tb2 combat drones were launched at the Misrata Air Force Academy, but intensive mediation succeeded in securing the release of all detainees.
