On 20 April, Libyan Army forces arrived at the designated camp in the Turkish city of Izmir to participate in the international tactical exercise EFES 2026, which is being held with the participation of a number of countries. The participating force included personnel from the Army General Staff, the Navy General Staff, the Western Coast Region, the 111th Mechanized Brigade, the Naval Special Forces, the Logistics and Supply Authority, the Military Engineering Directorate, and the Military Medical Service, along with a number of other units, under the supervision of the Training Directorate.
