On 30 March, unverified Libyan news reports claimed the Tripoli-based Special Deterrence Force (Rada) released five members of the Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council (BRSC) and the Derna Revolutionaries Shura Council (DRSC): Tawif Moftah, Zaidan al-Fitouri, Ali Saad al-Abbar, Walid Fathi al-Amami, and Rabi al-Shaali. On 31 March, it was also reported that Rada had released from Mitiga prison Abu Bakr al-Khair Idris al-Zawi and Ayman al-Zawi, alleged al-Qaeda and ISIS-affiliated prisoners respectively.
On 6 April, the Libyan National Army (LNA) claimed that a Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council (BRSC) member, Munther al-Kibti, was killed on the Wadi Rabea axis on the southern Tripoli frontlines. His brother, Abdullah al-Kibti, was reportedly injured at the same time.
