On 1 April, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken tweeted that ‘together with our partners, we will implement the 10-year Strategy to Prevent Conflict and Promote Stability. The US will work with government, businesses, and civil society partners to build resilience in Haiti, Libya, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea, and Coastal West Africa.’Following Blinken’s announcement, US Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland issued a tweet stating that ‘The ten-year US strategy to promote stability in Libya shows a sustained US commitment that goes beyond the short term.’
