On 30 September, in preparation for the Security Working Group meeting scheduled for 17 October in Sirte, Acting UN Envoy to Libya Stephanie Koury convened a consultation with the Group Co-Chairs Ambassadors and Defence Attachés. The participants emphasized the urgent need to support the efforts of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission in effectively implementing its mandate, particularly reinforcing the Ceasefire Agreement. They also expressed their hopes for a productive exchange in Sirte, aimed at advancing stability and peace in Libya.
