On 15 September, an explosion occurred on the coastal network gas line at the Aziziyya site. The following day, the Government of National Unity (GNU) Ministry of Oil and Gas issued a communiqué in which it expressed the condolences of Minister Aoun and the whole Ministry to the families of the two workers killed in the accident.
